Preqonn AI provides software that helps construction contractors prepare estimates and bid packages from project documents. In this policy, "Preqonn AI", "we", "us", and "our" mean ELMNTALSAI PRIVATE LIMITED, the company that operates the Preqonn AI platform. "You" means a user of the platform, whether you signed up directly or were added by your employer.
This policy covers the Preqonn AI web application, related tools, and our marketing website. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, which have their own policies.
Data we collect
We collect three broad categories of data.
Account information
When you or your employer create an account, we collect your name, work email address, company name, role, and authentication credentials. If your company pays for Preqonn AI, we also process billing contact details and payment records.
Project documents you upload
To produce takeoffs and bid packages, you upload project documents. This includes drawings, plan sets, specifications, schedules, addenda, scopes of work, and similar files. These documents and the outputs generated from them are your content. We treat them as confidential and process them only to provide the service to you.
Usage data
We automatically collect technical and usage data when you use the platform. This includes log files, device and browser type, IP address, pages and features used, timestamps, and diagnostic information. We use this to keep the service running, secure, and reliable.
How we use data
We use the data described above for the following purposes.
- Providing the service. Running takeoffs, generating bid packages, and delivering the outputs you request.
- Account management. Authenticating you, managing permissions, and supporting your team.
- Support. Answering questions, diagnosing issues, and resolving tickets you raise.
- Security and integrity. Detecting fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and protecting the platform.
- Service improvement. Understanding how features perform so we can make the product better.
- Billing. Processing payments and maintaining financial records.
- Legal compliance. Meeting obligations under applicable law and responding to lawful requests.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not sell your project documents.
AI processing
Preqonn AI uses machine learning models to read project documents and produce estimates. Your uploaded documents are processed to generate your outputs, and outputs are reviewed by senior estimators before they reach you.
We do not use your project documents or outputs to train shared or public models. Where we use third-party model providers, we contract with them so that your content is not retained beyond what is needed to return a result and is not used to train their models. Any model improvement we perform on our own systems uses de-identified or aggregated signals, never your raw drawings or bid figures.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only in the limited circumstances below.
- Subprocessors. Vendors that host infrastructure, process payments, send email, or provide model inference on our behalf. They are bound by contract to protect your data and use it only to deliver their service to us.
- Your organization. If you use Preqonn AI through an employer, administrators on your account can access content and activity within that account.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Preqonn AI, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.

We maintain a current list of named subprocessors and provide it on request. Email info@preqonn.com for the latest list.
Retention
We keep project documents and generated outputs for as long as your account is active, so you can return to past bids. You can delete documents from the platform at any time.
When your account is closed, we delete or de-identify your project documents and outputs within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule and are not used to restore deleted content. Usage logs are retained for up to 18 months for security and reliability purposes.
Security
We protect your data with technical and organizational measures appropriate to its sensitivity.
- Encryption. Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest with industry-standard encryption.
- Access control. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel, granted on a least-privilege basis, and logged.
- Isolation. Customer content is logically separated so one account cannot access another's documents.
- Monitoring. We monitor for unusual activity and maintain an incident response process.
- Testing. We carry out regular reviews and security testing of the platform.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law and without undue delay.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
If you use Preqonn AI through an employer, that organization controls much of your data, and we will direct relevant requests to them. For data we control directly, you can exercise your rights by contacting info@preqonn.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for two purposes. Essential cookies keep you signed in and the application working. Analytics cookies help us understand aggregated usage so we can improve the product.
You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the platform from working. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other sites through our platform.
International transfers
Preqonn AI is operated from the United States, and data is processed there. If you access the platform from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States and other locations where our subprocessors operate.
Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses, and we make those terms available on request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves or as the law changes. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and notify account administrators by email or through the platform before the change takes effect.
Continued use of Preqonn AI after an update means you accept the revised policy.
